If you had told me a year ago that I’d be startng a newsletter, I’d have laughed. I would have probably thought I’d be back working in retail right now, but here we are, still having the privilage of painting as a full time job?! Madness.

I’ve been a little more quiet lately as after a busy festive season I’ve had a LOT of admin to catch up on, and of course, painting! I was blown away by the reception of my first large figure-based painting “Perseverence” last year that I’ve had the confidence to continue on this theme and make a series. Just, not quite as big. Getting it in the car was quite the ordeal. Never again.

Whilst I tease you for a little while longer on the new series, I’m pleased to say “Sea Swimmer” 2023 from my time in Mexico has now gone to print, and is available for Pre-Order in sizes A4 and A3 on my online store. When I’ve had a chance to re-jig my wall space at Norwich Art Shop I’ll be stocking framed copies here too.

Anyway, I’m off to carry on with those paintings and with any luck they’ll be finished by the beginning of Feburary.
